It wasn't just ICFF with green building materials and products. In the Meatpacking District, fashion designers took the opportunity to make their own green statement.Jussara Lee is a Brazilian fashion designer who created gorgeous organic couture without dyes- Oh I wish I had pictures!
What touched me is that she hand wrote a four page letter explaining what deforestation, monoculture, and the fever over ethanol production were doing to her beloved country.
